Beef it up for St George’s Day

This Saturday, 23rd April, will see a day of feasting in all of our Three Cheers pubs, in honour of England’s patron saint, St George, the legendary dragon-slayer and saviour of damsels in distress.

We’ll be serving up a great British Angus rib of horseradish and thyme-crusted beef from Tom Hixson, with all the trimmings including roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, and spring greens and not forgetting lashings of the all-important marrow bone gravy.

The special beef will be on the menu all day, priced at £50 to share, providing a portion more than fit for a knight (or two). Our a la carte menus will also be available, with all the usual great signature dishes.

Visitors to The Stonhouse in Clapham on St George’s Day will also be lucky enough to see the New Esperance Morris Dancers and The World Famous Hammersmith Morris Men, performing outside the pub at 3:30pm in all their finery.
