Another Bank Holiday is beckoning us and damn it looks fine.
Not only is the sunshine hanging around but The Rosendale in Dulwich is hosting a Sausage and Beer Festival in aid of the wonderful Battersea Dogs & Cats Home.
From 12pm – 5pm on Saturday 25th, Sunday 26thand Monday 27th August, the front garden will be transformed into a sausage and beer shrine showcasing over 15 of the best locally produced beers and ciders plus our favourite ever sausages, think chorizo, ale and apple plus the finest pork bratwurst, all served in the fluffiest artisan roles.
Beer fans can choose from tipples from South London’s finest breweries including Wimbledon, Brixton, Lost Skulls, Fourpure, Gypsy Hill, and the Small Beer Company.
Better still, there will be old school pub games for all the family such as shove ha’penny, darts and quoits. Our fantastic kids’ play area (ensuring maximum adult sit down time) and side garden will of course be open and the delicious summer menu is available both inside and outside the pub too.
Sunday will be ‘bring your pooch to the pub’ day* where 10% of the cost of any beer or cider bought (buy a dog owner) will be donated to the charity. We will also have special dog and cat shaped fun and games for the kids too.
The Rosendale Sausage and Beer Festival, in aid of Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, runs from 12pm – 5pm on Saturday, Sunday and Monday 25th– 27thAugust. Entry is totally free.
