Easter weekend kicks off the school holidays and to reward you for all getting through the term, The Rosendale and The Princess Victoria will be providing FREE kids entertainment which could possibly involve you sitting down with a glass of wine or pint. Interested?
From Good Friday through to Easter Sunday there will be a kids’ discovery trail. Available until dusk each day, let little ones find the treasure hidden in the gardens, before they settle down to enjoy bunny colouring-in and bunny puzzles. (Again this may be where you get a chance to have a drink or a sit down :))
Budding artists and glitter fans will love the chance to decorate their own Easter crown or bonnet to take home too. Go mad with sparkles, feathers and all the colours of the rainbows to create something worthy of an Easter parade.
Easter Monday heralds the arrival of the Easter bunny. Free mini chocolate eggs will be available for all children. Note: Eggs are for children, not adults. The Easter Bunny is imaginary :))
PLUS…The Rosendale’s Kids’ Play Area will be open for the first time this year. Beast from the East willing.
Starting on Good Friday and running until Easter Monday, 12pm – 5pm, The Princess Victoria will be hosting their first Easter egg hunt. Children must find all the hidden egg images in order to swap them for a the real (chocolate) thing.
They’ll also be an Easter colouring competition with (chocolate) prizes given for the under and over 7s which will run throughout the weekend. Over 7s, does not mean 47!
Other Three Cheers pubs will also be getting into the Easter spirit by serving delicious fish specials on Easter Friday and introducing possibly the best pud you’ve ever had – available all weekend: hot cross bun bread and butter pudding with salted caramel sauce. YEEEEESSSSS!
