The Princess Victoria near Shepherd’s Bush are looking for a talented supervisor to join their team. The Princess Victoria is a popular pub serving high volumes of food and drink, with a function room and five hotel rooms. We are looking for a confident and competent person to manage the pub a few shifts a week and assist the General Manager.
The role includes:
- Maintaining excellent service at the bar and at the table
- Training of new staff
- Managing a large team of staff 1-2 shifts a week
- Managing a large venue with a function room & boutique hotel rooms
- Some day-to-day admin including ordering stock and closing tills at the end of day
The candidate must have:
- An enthusiastic, energetic and friendly personality, with a passion for providing excellent customer service
- At least 6 months supervising experience in a busy, fast paced, pub environment, some experience of large private functions would be beneficial
- Basic IT and admin skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Confidence to manage a large team of up to 25 staff and up to 280 customers
- Flexibility with working hours – must be available evenings and weekends
