Ring in the New Year with Three Cheers

Organising New Year’s Eve can be a tricky one. Everyone wants to get all their friends together in the same place, but no one ever knows what they are doing until the very last minute.

This year, don’t be stuck at home watching Jools Holland’s Hootenanny or waiting in the freezing cold to get in somewhere when the clock strikes twelve. Leave it up to us to sort out New Year’s Eve and it’s guaranteed to be a good one.

All seven of our pubs will be open, welcoming you in for a glass of champagne or a winter cocktail, and you can order from our delicious seasonal menus. With dishes like rum-cured gravadlax, steak and chips and a legendary cheese board, there really is something for everyone. We’ve also got live DJs, extended late night licenses and the best drinks menu this side of the river, so there’s plenty of time to party in 2016.

New Year’s Eve at The Avalon also takes some beating. We’ll be open until 3am with a very special set dinner menu on offer, and two sittings at 6pm and 9pm (priced at £35 and £50). If you opt for the later sitting, you can keep your table all evening long.

Alternatively, we’ve discovered that an indulgent lunch with family and friends is a great way to celebrate New Year’s Eve – whilst saving on childcare cost and hassle. You’ll be fresher on New Year’s Day too.

If you’re feeling slightly worse for wear the following day, we can help out. All of our pubs except The Avalon are open on New Year’s Day from 12-5pm. Come and see us for a long leisurely lunch and a Bloody Mary or two whilst you mull over what may or may not have happened the night before. There’s nothing comfort food can’t solve.
