Nothing says summer quite like a fete and here at Three Cheers we’re getting ready for the celebrations at The Abbeville and The Bolingbroke.
On Saturday 25th June, the Abbeville Fete will be taking over the road right on The Abbeville’s doorstep, with a children’s seaside-themed fancy dress parade making its way along the street that will be lined with over 80 stalls and plenty of live music performances throughout the day. There’s even a dog show to flaunt your handsome hound.
Then The Bolingbroke in Battersea will be getting involved in the fun for the Northcote Road Summer Fete on Sunday 10th July, coinciding with the Wimbledon Men’s Final which will be shown on a big screen on the corner of Bennerley Road. In addition to this, there’ll be entertainment, market stalls, live music and a coconut shy too, a compulsory fete feature.
Both pubs will be bringing the food outside with hay bale seating across the pavements, and an al fresco grill from midday until 5pm, serving a delicious selection of top-notch food including a halloumi and mushroom burger drizzled with harissa mayo and a cajun chicken burger at The Abbeville and lamb and mint sausages at The Bolingbroke from our favourite butcher Tom Hixson.
Both pubs will be serving Pimms and lemonade by the pint or pitcher, and The Abbeville will have a pop-up Peroni bar. A perfect recipe for the ultimate summer set up!
For those of you that can’t do without your Sunday roast, The Bolingbroke will be serving their usual Sunday à la carte and bar menus from midday to 9pm, with the bar open from 11am until midnight.
