Tom Peake, Mark Reynolds and Nick Fox of Three Cheers Pub Co are pleased to announce they will open their latest pub, The Princess Victoria in Shepherd’s Bush in late October.
The Princess Victoria is Three Cheers Pub Co’s first west London site outside of south London. Their current portfolio includes The Abbeville, The Avalon and The Stonhouse in Clapham, The Bolingbroke and The Latchmere in Battersea, The Rosendale in Dulwich and The Tommyfield in Kennington.
The landmark Victorian pub dates back to the early nineteenth century. Once owned by Richard Branson and more recently by Richard Fulford-Smith and James McLean, The Princess Victoria will be transformed inside and out by Three Cheers Pub Co.
Owner Tom Peake will once again work with designer and close friend Adam Ellis to rejuvenate the pub. A new front terrace will be introduced in addition to the existing courtyard garden. The site will now accommodate 150 covers downstairs, a first floor function room seating 70 plus 95 covers outside.
The Princess Victoria’s food menu will concentrate on great British produce and robust flavours. There will be a focus on Scotch eggs, British charcuterie, puff pastry pies, artisan pizzas and flatbreads. The bar menu will reflect the pub’s history as an original gin palace with an impressive list of over 100 gins and 40 beers.
Tom Peake of Three Cheers Pub Co. said: “We are absolutely delighted to confirm we are taking on The Princess Victoria. It is such a well-loved pub with a rich history and we can’t wait to breathe new life into it.”
