British Food Fortnight celebrates the very best food that our green and pleasant land has to offer. With so much beautiful produce to choose from it was hard to know what to focus on but this year we have been particularly taken with the quality of British game on offer. It’s glorious. So much so, from 17 September until 2 October, you can choose from a variety of game dishes available at every Three Cheers Pub.
Why not try some British partridge, venison and pistachio terrine or a venison and black pudding scotch egg with cucumber mayo. Perhaps even tuck into slow cooked pheasant with creamy celeriac, barley risotto, confit pumpkin and juniper berries jus. If pie is more your thing, how about Hunter’s wild boar pie or maybe wild rabbit loin ballotine with braised leg cottage pie, wild mushrooms, roasted baby carrots and thyme jus. These game dishes sit along side our a la carte menus brimming with other fantastic British dishes and ingredients.
