Do you like to party? We like to party and want better way than with a Gin Pop-Up Party for World Gin Day, on Saturday 9thJune.
From 4pm – 10.30pm, the garden at The Latchmere in Battersea will be transformed into a gin oasis.
All your gin dreams will come true with over 30 different gins served at a beautiful alfresco bar. There will be the likes of Sipsmith, Hayman’s, Monkey 47, and Bloom London Dry plus the chance to try three gins which are brand new to London: Jinzu, a Scottish made Japan inspired East meets West traditional gin with cherry blossom, sake and yuzu; Tanqueray Flor De Sevilla, made with famously zesty Seville oranges for an instant Mediterranean hit and Tanqueray Rangapur, allegedly the best kept secret of the British-Indian tradition made with lime and mandarin.
Better yet between 4pm and 6pm gin and tonic will be half price. Half price. That’s the stuff pal! Let the party beGIN.
From 12pm – 6pm, the secret garden at The Avalon will become a gin lover’s paradise.
A pop up bar will selling over 15 gins plus every hour a gin bell will be rung. Enthusiastic gin lovers will then be surprised with free gin based prizes and treats.*
Like every good secret garden there will also be a secret door inspired by gin’s surreptitious history. A beautiful cat door knocker will hint at the plethora of Hayman’s Old Tom Gin hidden behind – perfect for those who like their gin on the sweet side.
World Gin Day at The Avalon – a gateway to a great day!
*Gin prizes and treats will be on a first come first served basis. If you’re not a lucky gin winner, remember to try again the next time the gin bell rings. Gin is winning after all.
Every day is World Gin Day at The Princess Victoria. An original and probably one of the most notable gin palaces, The Princess Victoria, which was first built in 1829, serves over 100 gins. There are artisan small batch gins, local gins, big brand gins, even non-alcoholic gins as well as impressive selection of gin cocktails. For a full selection please click here.
We are also proud to launch five new beautiful boutique bedrooms in time for World Gin Day making this gin palace now a gin hotel.
Nestled on the top two floors of this historic building, each luxury bedroom will be named after a famous gin cocktail: the Negroni, Bramble, Vesper, Gibson and Bronx. The uniquely designed bedrooms will take their design cues from gin botanicals and guests will even receive a free gin and tonic during their stay. For more information click here.
However you gin, you are in at The Princess Victoria.
