Kings party hard so to celebrate King’s Day we will be throwing a right royal bash in the secret garden at The Avalon in Clapham South on Thursday 27th April, from 6.30-9.30pm.
In honour of the Dutch national day and our brand new premium house tonics Double Dutch, we will be recreating the biggest street-party of the year, Three Cheers style.
Every guest will receive a complimentary gin or vodka and Double Dutch tonic (choose from five unique flavours including pomegranate and basil, cucumber and water melon, cranberry, Indian or slimline Indian tonic). G&T and V&T will be just £6 all night and we will also be serving an exclusive King’s Day cocktail, the Double Dutch Spritz made with premium Beefeater 24, Aperol, lemon, plum bitters and Double Dutch Indian Tonic for just £6.50. Our alfresco bar will also be open selling all your favourite tipples too.
In Amsterdam, the theme is orange, orange and more orange, in a show of pride for the Dutch Royal family, the House of Orange-Nassau, so feel free to dress fit for the occasion. Personally we’ll be putting all our efforts into drinking orange – the Double Dutch Spritz fits the bill quite nicely. The Double Dutch queens (entrepreneur owners) twins Joyce and Raissa de Haas will even be on hand if you’re looking for authentic Dutch drinking partners.
The Avalon’s King’s Day party is on a first come first served basis. No RSVP required. Please do just turn up. Once we reach capacity, entrance will be one in, one out. One free drink per customer.
