Calling all lads and lassies (with a penchant for whisky)!
Dig out your kilt and celebrate all things Scottish at our Burns Night celebrations at The Avalon and The Bedford.
On Tuesday 25th January, The Bedford will honour Scotland’s favourite poet with a traditional supper and show from performance ensemble Live Canon. Guests can enjoy renditions of Rabbie Burns’ finest poems, songs and speeches including ‘Ae Fond Kiss’ and ‘Address to a Haggis’. Doors open at 6.30pm and the show runs from 7.30pm – 9.30pm. Tickets cost just £15, include a shot of whisky and can be purchased here. Dinner must be ordered separately. Please check out the menu. Reservations in advance are a must.
Also on 25th January, The Avalon will celebrate by serving 62 whiskies, all at fantastic value, including Bowmore 18 year old for £6, Glenfiddich 21 year old for £7.50 and Chivas 18 year old for just £5.50!
A heady mix of whisky cocktails will also be available including a Whisky Sour, Hot Toddy and Gingerbread Old Fashioned. Guests are encouraged to soak up the fun with three delicious Scottish specials, cock-a-leekie soup, Scottish Stovies and sticky ginger skillet parkin.
