Four day weekends don’t come around that often, so we thought we’d make the most of it, and we think you should too.
On Easter Sunday and Monday our pubs will be serving delicious rosemary and garlic spring lamb with all the trimmings and lashings of mint sauce – from Midday until 9pm so you can take Easter as gently as you wish.
The Latchmere in Battersea and The Rosendale in West Dulwich will also be offering a special Easter Scotch egg between Good Friday and Easter Monday. Made with wild rabbit from the South Downs supplied by Tom Hixson, it promises to earn its place amongst our line-up of memorable British bar snacks.
Mark has chosen two red wines that will go particularly well with spring lamb. Siete Soles Chilean Cabernet has slightly minty, cassis notes which pair beautifully with lamb; or the Ontanon Crianza Rioja which will provide a mellow balance to the dish.
Don’t just take our word for it, book a table and try it for yourself. Our regular Sunday and à la carte menus will also be available so there’ll be something for all the family to enjoy this Easter.
