Dear friends, family and loyal customers

It is with great pleasure we can now officially say we will be open all nine of our Three Cheers pubs on Saturday 4th July.

We will be serving all your favourite food and drink plus each pub will have a takeaway menu, collection only, too.

We will be operating a mix of first come first served tables plus online bookings. Online bookings can be taken now for 4th July onwards. The Avalon differs slightly and online bookings are open from 6th July onwards. Please do visit each pub’s website for full details.

Whilst waiting for our much-anticipated re-opening date, we have been working behind the scenes to put even more health and safety measures in place to keep everyone well.

We now kindly ask customers to sanitise their hands on arrival, provide contact details for tracing purposes, wait to be seated, order food from their table only, use card or contactless where possible as well as adhere to social distancing rules as well as those pertaining to the number of guests in your group, at all times. Please note current legislation asks that a table should be made up of no more than two households.

We continue to be meticulous about hygiene. All our pubs have received deep cleans, each table is thoroughly sanitised after use and menus and drinks lists are one use only.

All our staff have undergone new health and safety training, their temperatures will be screened on arrival to work in addition to complying with all the latest government guidelines.

Our boutique hotel rooms at The Bedford, The Tommyfield and The Princess Victoria have reopened too. If you’re looking for a stylish London bolthole, for business or pleasure, please do check out our stunning bedrooms. Price start from just £89 a night and can be booked now for hotel stays from 6th July onwards.

We know that many of you look forward to our weekly events, whether that be live music and comedy gigs, theatre shows, yoga classes, speed dating or art classes amongst others. As soon as it is safe we will start to run these again. Do follow us on social media @threecheerspubs for the latest updates or check out Always Be Comedy who have moved their star-studded stand-up show from The Tommyfield to online, temporarily, for just £5 a ticket.

Whilst we have been officially closed we’ve also managed to feed over 3,000 elderly and vulnerable people in our local community. Thanks to your generosity we’ve raised £6,745 which allowed us to work with the amazing charity Open Kitchens and cook individually packaged nutritious individual meals and feed those in need.  Our brilliant staff have worked for free during this time to allow this to happen. Whilst this project has now come to an end, due to our pub kitchens now being used to feed you, our wonderful customers, we very much hope to work with Open Kitchens in the near future.

Take care of each other and we can’t wait to see you soon.

Three Cheers for re-opening!

Tom, Mark, Nick and the Three Cheers team

Dear friends, family and loyal customers

Following the latest government guidelines, it is with huge sadness that we will be temporarily closing all Three Cheers Pubs.

We do this with heavy hearts as we know how important pubs are to the local community. Please know that we are doing everything we can to support out staff during this incredibly tough time.

We have made the decision not to offer delivery or collection. We continue to offer gift vouchers which can be purchased by emailing [email protected].

We thank you for all your support and very much look forward to raising a glass with you once this is all over.

For the latest news please do connect with us on our social media channels @threecheerspubs. If you learn of any local services or projects that can help others, please tag us in your posts and we will share the information.

Take care of each other and see you soon.

Free Bloody Mary on New Year’s Day

Hands up if you’re planning on having a hangover on New Year’s Day.

Hands up if you’d rather it be one of those nice ones. The kind of hangover that makes your mates seem extra lovely, everything seem extra funny and food taste extra yummy, so much so you can’t stop eating.

Let us help. We are giving everyone a FREE Bloody Mary* on New Year’s Day to ease you the right way into 2020. Our pubs open at 11am**, allowing time for necessary shut-eye (essential if you want a nice hangover). Whatever your hangover food go to (cheeeese, melted cheese, on anything, juicy burger, pizza, chips or even delicious detox salads, we have the lot) simply order a main course, mention the offer and the Bloody Mary is yours on the house. Let the magic mix of ingredients dissolve the pain and push on like the boss you are. Everyone knows New Year’s resolutions don’t start until the 2nd January anyway. Our pubs close at 10.30pm, giving you time to re-group before work (and to save you getting carried away again – we’ve all done it!)

There’s something about Mary. Three Cheers for FREE Bloody Mary’s at London’s favourite pubs. Happy 2020!

*One free Bloody Mary per person when mentioning the offer. One main course must be ordered. No alternatives.
**The Avalon is not open on New Year’s Day. All other Three Cheers Pubs are open.

Bring clean water to Ethiopia for £1

This Christmas, Three Cheers Pub Co is fundraising to pay for a new drilled well in Tigray, Ethiopia.

Our aim is to raise £7,500 which will be donated to the amazing Charity Water who will run the project which will transform an entire community.

Today, 663 million people, or 1 in 10 people worldwide, lack access to clean water. We’d like your help change that.  We are therefore asking all our customers to kindly donate £1 (per table) which will be added to the bottom of every bill from 1st – 31st December 2019.

HEALTH: Diseases from dirty water kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war. Access to clean water can save around 16,000 lives every week.

EDUCATION: Clean water keeps kids in school. Less time collecting water means more time in class.

FEMALE EMPOWERMENT: In Africa alone, women spend 40 billion hours a year walking for water. Access to clean water nearby frees up time and increases their opportunities.

On Sunday 1st December Charity Water will be bringing Virtual Reality headsets to The Avalon in Clapham and The Bedford in Balham to officially launch the campaign. These headsets will illustrate the day in the life of an Ethiopian girl and the impact having access to clean water can have. They will be free to use. Customers can also discover the weight and size of the gerry cans that have to be used to transport the fresh water. Join them from 12 noon – 2pm at The Avalon and from 3pm – 5pm at The Bedford.

Charity Water started in 2006 with the aim to bring clean and safe drinking water to every person on the planet. Today, with our help, they fund 27 countries around the globe and focus on providing rural communities with their first access to clean water.

100% of the funds Three Cheers Pub Co customers raise will be sent to Ethiopia in January. Our wish is for your money to be as effective as possible straight away.

Thank you in advance for your donation. You really will change lives.

Buy your Christmas tree at our pubs & get free booze

Christmas trees with benefits.

Real trees are where it’s at. No messin’. Real trees that come with a Christmas gift of free booze. Hello?! I’m gonna get me some of that action.

This year, from 10am on 30th November, The Avalon and The Abbeville in Clapham and The Rosendale in West Dulwich, will be selling you the finest Nordman Firs. Every tree also comes with a FREE glass of mulled wine or hot cider with every purchase. How good is that?

Now the tree is sorted, what about your Christmas feast? With a 25% discount on weekday Christmas lunches, so three courses will cost you just £22.50, it seems rude not to indulge (again). Find full details and menus here.

Happy Christmas!

If you’ve started to love Halloween as much as your kids, why not head to The Rosendale in West Dulwich on Thursday 31st October for an afternoon of hair-raising Halloween fun.

From 3pm until 5pm, mini witches and warlocks (plus their supreme wizards aka parents) can enjoy apple bobbing, pumpkin carving and face painting. There will also be the stickiest of sweet treats to sink their fangs in to – all absolutely FREE.

Frighteningly good food and drinks will be on hand as ever, making The Rosendale the perfect place for tea (and maybe the odd glass of wine).

Fancy dress is actively encouraged and if anyone can’t make the party, please do pop past The Rosendale on your Trick or Treat rounds.

Happy Halloween!
