New Year’s Eve & New Year’s Day

New Year’s Eve

Whether you like to start at lunchtime and go home early (to avoid that babysitter nonsense) or go out late and have it large, New Year’s Eve should not be forgotten.

Just like the best party you have ever been to, we are open LATE (until 3am in some cases) and it’s FREE* to get in. Whether you want to drink, dine or wiggle it, just a little bit (we will have music of varying degrees depending on the venue), just choose your favourite pub, look hot and we’ll see you there.

Please click on each pub’s individual website (just scroll down) for full details of their New Year’s plans. If you would like to dine, please book your table early to avoid disappointment.

New Year’s Day

Sometimes you just don’t want the party to end. Sometimes you have a hankering for a whole lot of comfort food and Bloody Mary. Sometimes you just need looking after a bit. This is why we are open on New Year’s Day.

All of our pubs* are open from 12 noon until 9pm to revive, restore and refill. We promise friendly faces, open fires and all your favourite food and drink. Come for lunch, stay all day. We only close at 9pm because someone has to be the sensible one. You most probably need to go to work tomorrow. Booking is advised, especially if you’ll need to sit down.

*Please note The Avalon is special. The Avalon will have an awesome DJ and is open until 3am for maximum partying. There is a £10 entry fee. It is NOT open on New Year’s Day. Normal service resumes on 2nd January 2019.
